Art Is Intimacy

I haven't blogged in more than ten years. Not that I don't write, I write almost every day, although my words close tightly against one another, sitting between lines. Up until now, I kept my internal thoughts private, trading keyboards and monitors for a pen and paper. So, it's not that I lack words, I have them.

I expose myself everyday through my art, revealing pieces of myself in each line, every contour, within the depth of time, and subject, to match every desire.

Art is the process of deliberately, or inadvertently arranging elements and objects in a way to affect the senses or emotions within and throughout. It encompasses a diverse range of activities, involves an unlimited flow of creativity and evolves through a wide range of genres, including music, literature, film, sculpture, illustration, and painting.

The meaning of art is explored in every branch of philosophy, psychology, politics, film. In just about every aspect of life, art reveals itself, taking upon a personal, subjective and objective interpretation to anyone with an opinion. That's what makes Art so unique and interesting.

I feel that much of my artwork is open to interpretation, but through the use of this blog, I hope to offer a more in depth look into my thoughts and motivations behind each piece. Each work represents something personal to me.
